Founded in 2015, B-Side Collective’s goal is to make music more accessible to students at Colorado College and Colorado Springs as a whole. The collective is specifically for underrepresented artists including but not limited to women, queer identified, non-binary, trans, low income, and artists of color. However, our events and workshops are for everyone.

Our mission is to foster community, offer alternative educational workshops and programs, create a space where anyone can experience and enjoy the arts. We aim to raise awareness on issues affecting underrepresented groups in the performing and visual arts industry.

In 2019, the 3D arts building that housed B-Side was torn down for a hockey arena. The art department was forced to put equipment in storage and in 2021 B-Side was revived and placed in a basement where we continue to rebuild.
